This PAS specifies requirements for the monitoring and quantification of carbon-abated electricity(CAE) equivalent.

This PAS covers:
a) the methodology to quantify CAE equivalent resulting from fossil fuel thermal power plantsequipped with carbon capture, transportation and storage (CCS); and
NOTE 1 This method calculates the amount of net CO2e storage from CCS facilities. It deducts the additional CO2e emissions from total CO2 injected volume.
b) specifications for metering and monitoring systems for CCS.
